- Does taking drugs make you end up feeling miserable and hopeless?
- Have you had to take one drug to overcome the effect of another?
- Have you ever lied about what drugs or how much of it you use.
- Is taking drugs more important than other areas of your life, i.e. work, family, finance?
- Does your drug use interfere with your sleeping or eating?
- Do you use drugs to escape from your feelings?
- Do you ever wonder if you’re going mad?
- Do you feel you need drugs in order to fit in or have fun?
- Do you feel guilty, ashamed or defensive because of your drug use?
- Do you constantly have irrational fears?
- Do you continue to use drugs despite the negative consequences?
- Have you ever overdosed on any drug?
- Have you ever lied to a doctor to obtain a prescription for psychoactive drugs?
- Do you still use drugs despite being chastised by family, friends and community?
- Are you at risk of losing your job because of your drug use?
