How FARS can help


The face-to-face services offered by FARS are currently closed.
Please make use of our website for English and Farsi information about addiction, treatment and recovery.


If you are concerned about your drug and or alcohol use and would like information and support, you can:

  1. Call FARS confidentially on Free phone Helpline number 08000 38 31 30 to discuss your drug / alcohol problem.
    We do not need your personal details just the postcode you live in order to provide you with information about drugs services in your area.

  3. 3. Access our extensive Farsi / English website: www.farsservices.co.uk for a range of useful information about addiction, treatment and recovery in UK.

FARS can provide the following Free and Confidential services:

  1. Meet with you for ONE confidential face-to-face meeting within London and Greater London to discuss your drug/alcohol problem and inform you of different routes towards recovery.
  2. Make an appointment with a drug service provider of your choice.
  3. Accompany you on TWO occasions to a drug service provider of your choice for Farsi/English interpretation services and moral support - within London and Greater London.
  4. Provide Farsi/English interpretation services via phone during your visits to drug service providers - throughout UK.
  5. Provide you with information about UK's drug service providers in your borough and how to access them.
  6. Provide you with information on treatment with Statutory drug services.
  7. Provide you with information on your Confidentiality rights as clients in UK.
  8. Provide you with information on 12 steps programs and Fellowship meetings in your area.

  • The decision to enter into treatment and the choice of the drug service provider should be made by you.
